Kingtide was found on the beautiful island Sylt in 1999 by a couple of guys who spend their time doing what they were living for - surfing and skateboarding!

At a time when the whole industry was about expansion and large-volume production, Kingtide opened up the probably smallest surf and skate shop on earth in a 4 sqm garage which was smaller than a phone booth. Later, when the boys grew up they started investing more time for their passion between job and life, work and women. Today Kingtide runs two stores. In 2003, Kingtide’s distribution network increased to more than 100 registered dealers across Europe!
Kingtide became one of Germany’s biggest surf brands and even Germany’s third biggest skateboard brand with an annual sale of more than 3000 skateboards.

From 2001 to 2003 Kingtide organized the one and only combined surf and skate contest of middle Europe - the "Shootout".

During the last three years Kingtide was more focused on its distribution channel which contained several world-famous brands like "Lordz", "Square", "Poorboy" or "Frontline Wetsuits".

Today Kingtide is back with the best product range ever! Our idea is to offer the best in quality with a fair price! Everything what we do is real and is created out of passion! That’s why we still keep our additional name "COREBOARDCO." This name stands for a company that got its soul not only in boardsports but also in the hard core community of this sport
