Shea started surfing at the age of 20 and learned quickly how to surf at a competitive level. In a short amount of time, Shea was placing in the top 5 in the NSSA longboard competition, where he placed in 2 finals at Nationals. Shea works closely with local shaper, Reef Atteberry, KingTide and designed his own pro model called V3. He currently competes on the Professional Longboarding Association, where he had success and finishing as 3 time Surfride Series champion. Currently residing in Cardiff, he coaches Torrey Pines High School and teamed up with Fulcrum Surf. Many thanks for this support and friendship!
